ICSTM mission is to provide, coordinate, monitor and support scientific research, experimental development, innovation and technological transfer, consultancy, expertise, training and professional development in the areas of scientific competence of the UVT.

ICSTM elaborates the strategy and operational procedures regarding the scientific research, organizes and manages its own research laboratories, collaborates with research centers in order to use the laboratory equipment and the specialized human resources.

ICSTM reunites all the research centers accredited institutional in UVT. Now, the ICSTM is composed of 15 research centers where operate the active staff and associated holders of UVT.
